Letting Go: The pathway of surrender by Dr. David R Hawkins.

To tune into the frequency of life with our over-analyzing anxious brain may not be an easy task, but it is inevitable for us to connect to the silliness within us. A healthy detachment from life allows us to be centered and enjoy life. That’s why the concept of detachment is taught in many religious and philosophical teachings as a requirement for happiness and contentment. This book is a true guide for developing that detachment.

The book is about The letting go technique itself, where the author has discussed different situations and emotions to show how can we let go truly and live a more abundant and harmonious life. The necessary rationalization that our brain needs to start listening and the solid base of spirituality because, in the end, we are spiritual beings; can be found in this book. It is necessary to break down the method in a rational way so that those who are just starting on the journey can relate more easily and get the most out of this technique.

Holding on to people, circumstances and experiences block us from flowing forward in life. The most valuable gift we are given is that of time because it just slips away and there is nothing much we can do to retain the time. The letting go technique helps us to unload the weights and be in the moment..focus on the things that truly matter to us and make most of our precious time on this earth.
I often ask for guidance and the wisdom of the Universe and this is one book that I was guided to read and it has helped me immensely.

The biggest question is how to let go when you are all caught up in the emotions?
The core concept of letting go is to allow the emotions that cause the difficulty to be experienced without judging or analyzing. This way the emotion expresses itself and helps us to understand the underlying wounds that might have caused this emotion. The author encourages us to take a step back and observe the situation both from our perspective and also from the other person’s or persons’ perspective. I have been practicing the letting go technique for about a year now and it has brought a shift in the way I approach life. It feels really amazing to know how much we are connected than we are apart. Through my own experience of working with the book, I have realized that even when the momentum of thoughts builds up in a way that causes more worry or tension, or anxiety the letting go technique works well helps to calm the mind and feel more at ease. This method is not about escaping from life but being with life fully.

This book helps to cultivate more kindness, inner peace, and awareness. This is one of those books that I keep re-visiting. Highly recommended if you are on the journey of self-discovery and committed to creating an amazing life.
