One of the important lessons I was guided to learn as I go through my spiritual awakening is of intention. An act as simple as checking your intention behind each action can bring clarity about our psyche. By checking my intentions behind each action, many deeper wounds that I didn’t even know existed were opened up to me.
How intentions can help in evolution?
There is always an intention behind our actions. For example, if there is an argument between you and some other person, by observing your arguments you can understand what it is that you trying to convey? Is it to resolve the problem or to show that you are right? You have to go within and ask to understand the real intentions.
Even when we do good acts, our intention may be to prove to others that you are a good person or you care about this cause, not because we want to do such good deeds.

That is why setting an intention before doing anything, even for the most trivial things, can bring a feeling of being fully alive.
You can take back your power as a creator by becoming intentional in your actions. This shift can transform all aspects of our life. When our actions are born from intention there is awareness and when there is awareness there is love and we are love. It is the vibration of the source. Rather than sleep walking through life bearing the burdens of past or fears of future, becoming intentional call us to the present.
Observe your intentions without judging; there might be an unmet need or unhealed wound that is calling out for attention.
