The search is a hard-core spiritual book (Now available in Amazon Audible). It is the voice recording of the Osho talks on Zen Sutras( The ten bulls by Kakuan). Thanks to technology, I could listen to Osho’s teaching from the comfort of my home.
Osho’s talks are meditative. Beyond the words he speaks, there is a gentle calling from his innermost core. If you are receptive you can feel that energy. Osho’s way is beautiful because he is too careful that we don’t get attached to any ideology or dogmas including his.
This book is truly transformational. The commentary to the sutras is simple, examples are from life itself with a tint of sarcasm. As a spiritual seeker, taking baby steps this book had helped me to be at ease.
I feel rich and nourished after reading this book.
Here is the 10th sutra that I felt most drawn to as it signifies the last phase of the inner search, coming back to the world. The words reflects the beauty of true freedom and joy of knowing oneself. And the fact that you may not even know the person who is next to you may be a buddha , a self-realized person.
10. Return to Society
Barefooted and naked of breast,
I mingle with the people of the world.
My clothes are ragged and dust-laden,
and I am ever blissful.
I use no magic to extend my life;
Now, before me, the dead trees
become alive.
